This week was insanely busy at work for me. I hope that level of intensity doesn't continue... We are still about 3.5 weeks away from launching my first feature, which will happen around 9pm on a Tuesday. So I suppose that will be a crazy week too.
Our friends JR and Jen gave us a Lego Space Needle as a housewarming gift that we put together today. Check out my Instagram feed at Onion of Infinite Leaf to see more pictures from our day -- we also went to Ballard to pick up an expansion for our favorite board game (Agricola) and wander around a little.

Saturday we hiked ~5 miles of bluff and beach on Whidbey Island. It was a gorgeous day and an insanely scenic hike. Fort Casey, a decommissioned naval fort, is also on the island so we wandered around its bunkers and cannon turrets for bit as well. I collected a handful of awesome rocks from the beach -- I've never seen a beach that had such a huge variety of rock types and colors.

A stoic balloon man at Pike Place Market. If only he could be as joyful as his balloons.
Waiting for a lunch table at Matt's at the Market.
Fossils for sale at Agate Designs downtown.
Some cool street art on a the wall of an old brick pathway in the market (leading down to Post Alley.)
Lastly, a video of the Donut Robot Mark II in action at Daily Dozen Doughnut Company in Pike Place Market. Look at that thing go!
As always, more images in my Flickr photostream.

Saturday we hiked up part of Mount Index to Bridal Veil Falls. It was a gorgeous hike through she forest but the falls at the end were the best part. I'll post some pictures soon -- in the meantime, here are a couple of videos I took with the E-M5 (watch in HD if you can, click the little gear at the bottom to change video quality):
