Dustin's family visits Seattle - Space Needle & SkyCity Restaurant
Dustin's parents visited us for a week recently and we had an awesome time doing various things in the area. I had to work a few of the days they were here, but when I was around I grabbed pictures of some of our adventures. The day after they arrived we ate at the restaurant at the top of the Space Needle (SkyCity), which was a first for Dustin and I as well.
We timed our dinner to happen during sunset - the city slowly changed color.
People left notes on the wall that you would encounter as you slowly rotated by.

Fremont Solstice Fair
In June we wandered over to catch the end of the Fremont Solstice Fair, which includes a locally famous parade that most famously includes naked, body-painted bicyclists, among other things. The parade starts in Fremont and ends in Gas Works Park. We walked to the park to witness the remainder of some partying, dancing, brass band playing, etc. We then walked home during a really nice sunset. Since we missed the actual parade, we only saw one naked bicyclist. No photo available.

At Gas Works Park.
There is a brass band that played their way down the hill and onto a raft, then out into the lake, in the right side of the image.
