Today we had lunch at The Whale Wins in Fremont. Dustin is wearing contacts now and, as you can see, has recently acquired some aviator sunglasses that are too cool for school.

Afterward we drove down to Belltown to check out an antiques shop that ended up being more or less a hoarder's den -- interesting but far too cluttered and cramped to really move around in. It was very windy out but still sunny, so we walked to the waterfront to see Myrtle Edwards Park. Lots of pebble beach area with driftwood, barnacles and seaweed growing on the back of rocks that are kept just moist enough by the wave spray.

  2. Ahh! You made it to The Whale Wins! Was it everything Yelp claims it to be?

    1. We did! I would say the atmosphere/space was fantastic but the food was probably a B/B-. I think Dustin liked it more than I did. I would definitely go back and try other things though, it certainly had promise.

  3. Very nice pics. Now I know why Dustin went with contacts, the cool sunglasses that he can wear now!
